O Dia do Pai está próximo e este maravilhoso livro que resolvi comprar através da Wook e que veio direitinho para a minha casa sem qualquer esforço, vai agora ser usado novamente para o Dia do Pai.

Que prenda poderá ser melhor para um pai do que algo feito com o amor e a dedicação de suas filhas? Nenhuma!

O problema será escolher qual será o sabor e a decoração. Já andamos a pesquisar à algum tempo e penso que faremos exactamente os que são sugeridos na página dedicada aos Cupcakes do  Dia da Mãe e ao Dia do Pai.

Strawberry Shortcake Cupcakes

You will need:
Yellow cake mix
Fresh Strawberries
Whipped cream
Red colored sugar

Prepare cupcake pans.  Bake yellow cake mix according to the instructions on the box.  Bake and cool cupcakes.  Slice the strawberries and place on the cupcakes tops.  Spoon or squirt on prepared whipped cream.  Sprinkle with red sugar.  Place a whole strawberry in the center of each cupcake.

Blackberry Cupcakes

You will need:
White cake mix
1 cup blackberries, plus extra for decorating
vanilla Frosting
Purple colored sugar

Prepare cupcake pans.  Make cupcakes according to box directions, adding 1 cup of blackberries to the cake batter before baking.  Bake and cool cupcakes.  Frost the cupcakes.  Sprinkle cupcakes with purple sugar.  Spread a mound of white frosting in the center of the cupcake tops.  Place blackberries around the white frosting in circular parterns.

Peaches and Cream Cupcakes

You will need:
Yellow cake mix
Vanilla instant pudding
Whipped cream
Sliced peaches

Prepare cupcake pans.   Make the yellow cake mix cupcakes and vanilla instant pudding according to the instructions on the boxes.  Place a tablespoon of vanilla pudding on the center of cupcake tops.  Apply whipped cream around the cupcake tops.  Apply whipped cream around the cupcake perimeters.  Sprinkle with orange sugar.  Arrange sliced peaches in a pattern on cupcake tops.
